The Production Process in MRF

Production works orders and job tickets are created from the MRF sales order entry program. Works orders are then linked to subsequent job cards (production job tickets) and picking slips for stores items. Job cards, once created, can be amended, cancelled or completed. During the completion process, the user is asked for the coil number or serial number so that MRF selects the correct raw material item to complete the manufacturing process.

Special security features exist to limit user access to these areas of the software.

Also during the completion process, waste, offcuts, over-production stock and seconds items can be processed. This information is then posted automatically to the original customer order for the quantity completed (to be invoiced) and also posted to the coil yield section of MRF so that individual coil yield analysis can be achieved.
